A prayer for this week:
God of mystery and wonder, I try to slow down my mind and my thoughts to focus on Your presence in my life but too often my thoughts seem to come back to my shopping list or dinner menu or chores I need to get done. Help me instead to focus on You in all that I do, to see You present in the small and ordinary things as much as the grand things. Help me to pray in a few words more often than with more words less often. For You are with me at each moment. Realizing that is a wonderful prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
