Living the Questions

A 12 part programme, exploring various aspects of the Christian faith in a refreshing format that promotes the asking of questions, challenges some commonly held traditional views, and encourages us in our faith journeys.

Film Nights

A combination of fellowship (pot-luck dinner) followed by viewing of a film (with some relevant Christian teaching or experience), and a brief discussion afterwards.

 Lenten Series

Mostly organized and presented by the clergy, this annual presentation focuses on a theme of particular relevance to Lent.   This year's series is entitled "Anglicanism 201" and will encourage us to engage more fully with how we are Christians connected to the Anglican Church.

Retreats

These occur annually at a location outside the city, but easily accessible for a weekend. These are led by our clergy or an external leader. In 2010 the reatreat will be held at Rivendell on Bowen Island . The retreat leader will be John Stephens.  The topic will be:
    Creating a Rule of Life
Our parish retreats are always educational and a lot of fun!  We will be exploring how we create our own Rule of Life to help us grow spiritually and live out the gospel in our corner of the world.  There will be great discussion, wonderful worship, peace, serenity, walks, talks, and a restful weekend.  Please mark your calendar, March 12-14 now!

Workshops

These are usually single sessions, often organized and presented by the Rev'd Dr. Marilyn Hames, and cover varied topics, particularly of introductory and practical interest.
