Once the excitement of the engagement ring and the celebration ends, reality settle in that planning a wedding takes a lot preparation and planning. If your faith is important to you and you wish to have God’s blessing pronounced on your relationship, please contact the church as soon as possible to make arrangements. It is a celebration of love: your love for each other, the love of your family and friends and the love of God....
The Anglican Church requires that the bride and groom take part in some kind of marriage preparation. The legal regulations of the province must be adhered to, and details of liturgy, rehearsal, photography, flowers and music must be worked out well in advance. There are financial charges for weddings. In addition to the priest, it is usual to have the caretaker, the organist and members of the Altar Guild assist in the arrangements for the wedding.
