The Nu:BC Collective will be presenting two pieces:

  • The featured work is a fantastic chamber arrangement of Kindertotenlieder by Gustav Mahler featuring mezzo-soprano soloist Martina Govednik.
  • Also on the program will be a performance of Dorothy Chang's "Bagatelles", another work that Nu:BC commissioned  - for flute, cello and piano.

For this concert Nu:BC (Paolo Bortolussi - flute, Eric Wilson - cello, and Corey Hamm - piano) will be joined by Martina Govednik - mezzo soprano, Liam Hockley -clarinets, Alana Chang Lopez -violin, Enoch Ng -viola, and maestro Jonathan Girard (conducting Mahler!).

 

Admission by donation. Suggested donation is $20.

A tax receipt will be issued for donations above $20.
