Bishop John Welcomes Rev Lorne Manweiler

Bishop John Stephens' visit to St Philip's coincided happily with Rev Lorne Manweiler's first Sunday! Parishioners celebrated Lorne's arrival and John's homecoming. Bishop John was our rector for 15 years until he was appointed Rector of St John's, Shaughnessy in spring 2016. Rev. Lorne began his new role on October 1st.

All friends of St Philip's are invited to celebrate Lorne's Induction on Monday, October 18 at 7:00 pm at St Philip's, followed by refreshments. Let's pack the church and welcome Lorne with warmth and prayer.
