Out from the Centre: Centennial Walking Tour

The Centennial Committee has invited local historian John Atkin to share how the Dunbar community and social structures developed in the 1920s and onwards, specifically looking at institutions like St. Philip's that were founded as people settled in the neighbourhood, and in turn brought more families into the area.  How to explain a church with a gym, a stage, tennis courts and two bowling alleys?  John Atkin's walks are popular events at Dunbar's annual Salmonberry Days, May 12 - June 1.

(We are asked to sign a waiver before these events).

Please gather in the sanctuary beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The tour will leave at 7:00 p.m.
