The Church and Chapel are open for quiet prayer today.
God of our life, whose presence sustains us in every circumstance, we seek the grounding power of Your love and compassion.
We open our hearts in sorrow and shock for those killed in Tumbler Ridge, for their families and the family of the shooter.
We pray for the injured, grieving and traumatized, those whose lives are changed forever. Grant them solace, sustenance, and strength in the hard days to come.
We give thanks for First Responders and pray for their wellbeing.
We pray for doctors, nurses, mental health providers and religious leaders who will seek to bring healing and hope.
Surround the whole community of Tumbler Ridge and all who mourn with your Light and Life.
May those who have died rest in peace.
