It may seem like a long time ago that we launched our Capital Campaign, ‘Under our Roof and Beyond our Walls’, but the reality of your generosity has now certainly become apparent. As I write this, Penfolds, the roofing company employed to fit the new Eco Roof for the church, are enthusiastically (and rather noisily) ripping shingles from the Rectory Roof! The church site has become a building site once again!

Inside the church, our wonderful new friend, Mark Turner - the designer and carpenter commissioned to ‘upcycle’ our pews - has begun the process of removing them for their transformation into the beautiful stackable ones he designed especially for us.

Even below the church floor, the new "Loop" hearing system is being installed ensuring that those who use hearing aids will be able to hear with far more clarity than ever before.

And, meanwhile, our Verger, Pat continues to paint and refresh tired spaces and rooms with relentless vigour! Even in isolation, the church is a hive of activity and our gorgeous old building is being made ready for what the future will bring!
