Your donations continue to come in despite the fact that the church has been closed. Once a month, St Philip's provides the food supplies for the street visits and due to the generosity of our parish members, we have been able to provide winter clothing and often sleeping bags.  Your donations make a positive impact and are much appreciated.

Please fill the bins on the porch with:

  • Juice boxes, fruit cups, puddings, soft cereal and protein bars, canned meat and fish
  • Small bottles of hand sanitizer
  • Sleeping bags, sleeping pads, sleeping bag liners, tarps, blankets and can openers (small butterfly type: Canadian Tire has some for $1.99)
  • Fleeces, winter jackets, sweatpants, gloves, toques, scarves, rain pants, long underwear, heavy socks, boots
  • Travel size soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors and shaving cream

Urgent Message

In the cold, wet weather, the folks we see on the street often ask for sleeping bags and mats, and we are running short. Please donate a sleeping bag or donate $40 towards the purchase of a sleeping bag.

Food Bank

We are also collecting donations for the Marpole food bank, which we bring over on a bi-weekly basis.
